Can't get too enthused about spending time each day posting to a blog. I guess I'd rather focus on making fun things, rather than spending another hour typing. Since all I do most of the day is sit at a computer at work...
I made it through another week on the Weight Watchers Core program, and am still sold on it! I'm eating such healthy food, and not being hungry in the same way I was on the Flex plan. And I am not obsessed with counting and re-counting the points I have available to "spend" -- something that drove me nuts on Flex. So, almost 12 pounds off in 5 weeks...and I fit into my black jeans last weekend. I haven't been able to fit into those since I went to Mexico in 2006...
My goal this week is to eat as well as I did last week. Also to increase the amount of time I walk the dog each day. And to make it through Bob's birthday on the 2nd with minimal dietary damage.
I finished a Marilyn Monroe matchbox shrine for one of my Swap-bot trades. I am very happy with how that came out. And I am working on a Frida Kahlo themed necklace that I need to have done to mail this weekend. Photos here on my Flickr page:

Over Memorial Day I spent a good amount of time sorting through boxes and boxes and boxes of craft materials. I am finally moving my work area into Will's old bedroom...rather than just letting that empty room sit vacant, as if he might be moving back in with his parents at any moment. I'm amazed at how much stuff I actually have -- and being organized is really going to be wonderful! No more searching for paint brushes or hole punches or those tiny black beads I know I bought some time ago...Photos of the new "craft area" when I'm done, because it is WAY to embarrassing to let anyone know how out of control our storage room had become.
Here's a blog that I ran across this week that I really liked. Love this posting on making an art clothes hanger...
